What this is
Five questions and a table of rules. Your answers are scored against a catalogue of 28 stones, and the three that score highest are the three you are shown. There is no randomness in it: the same answers always give the same three stones, which is why two people can compare results and the comparison means something.
The scoring uses colour, mineral family, and the meanings people have traditionally attached to particular stones. Those meanings come from folklore, long habit and personal belief. They are not scientific findings and we do not offer them as any. Read your result as something to sit with, not as something that has been established about you.

It is not advice
Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment, a therapy, or a substitute for care from someone qualified to give it.
No stone heals, cures, treats or prevents any illness or condition, physical or mental, and no stone will change your money or your luck. If something is wrong, please talk to a doctor, a licensed therapist, or a qualified advisor. In Canada, call 911 if it is an emergency, or 988 for the Suicide Crisis Helpline.
Please never delay, change or stop treatment that a qualified person has recommended because of anything you read on this site.

The last few paragraphs
The closing part of every result is written by an AI language model rather than by a person. It has read your answers, and your note if you wrote one, and nothing else. It does not know you.
Machine-written text can be wrong, can be generic, and can sound far more certain than it has any right to. We check it automatically before it reaches the screen and throw it away rather than publish it if it makes a claim it should not — but a filter catches what it was built to catch and no more. Treat that passage as writing about a set of stones. Do not treat it as a statement about your health, your relationships or your future.

The stones themselves
The pictures on the result page are drawings, generated from the stone's mineral form. They are not photographs of a piece you would receive. A real stone will differ in colour, banding, clarity and shape, and two pieces of the same stone differ from each other — that is the nature of the material rather than a fault in it.
The names used here are the common trade names of the crystal trade, which are not always mineralogically strict. We make no claim about where a particular stone was mined, and none about whether it has been dyed, heated, coated, filled or otherwise treated, unless we tell you so in writing about a specific piece.

Nothing is sold here
There are no prices on this site, no cart, and no payment of any kind. Your result is not an offer, and answering the questions does not create an agreement or reserve anything. If you want a piece, write to hi@everystone.ca — availability, price and everything else are agreed there, one message at a time.

Wear and damage
Where a result says to keep a stone out of water, or away from knocks, that is general guidance worked out from the mineral's hardness and how it cleaves. It is not a promise about a particular piece.
Any stone can chip, crack, scratch, cloud or fade. Some fade in sunlight, some are damaged by water, salt, perfume, soap or heat, and any of them can be broken by being dropped. We are not responsible for damage to a piece once it is in your hands, or for damage a stone does to whatever it is worn against.

What happens to your answers
There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind on this site. Here is every place your answers go.

Your birthday
We ask the month and the day, never the year. Your browser turns it into a star sign and a season on your own device, and the date itself is thrown away there. It is never sent to us and never written down.

Your five answers
The stones are picked in the page, on your own device, and your answers are not stored on any server. But they are sent to one: your colour, intentions, sign, season, chosen piece and chosen company go to our server and on to the AI provider described below, which is how the closing passage gets written. That happens for everyone who reaches the result, whether or not they write anything in the last box.

The optional note
If you type something there, it goes the same way, with your answers.
The provider is DeepSeek. It runs outside Canada and handles the text on its own systems under its own terms and retention. We do not store your note, and we cannot control what a provider keeps. So please do not type anything there you would mind leaving your device — no private health details, no other people's names, no addresses, nothing sensitive.

The letter to the shop
Every "write to us" link opens your own mail app with a message already written, carrying your answers and your three stones. Nothing is sent until you press send yourself. Once you do, we have your email address and whatever you wrote, and we keep it only to answer you.

Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles the request and keeps its own short operational logs, including your IP address, under its policies rather than ours. We keep one running count of the day's AI usage: a number, with nothing attached to say whose it was.
If you want to ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, write to hi@everystone.ca and we will do it.

This is written for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please ask a parent or guardian before you write to us or send us anything about yourself.

No warranty, and the limit of it
The site is offered as it is, with no warranty of any kind: not that it is accurate, not that it suits any purpose you have in mind, and not that it will keep working.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Everystone is not liable for any loss, injury, cost or damage arising from your use of this site, from relying on anything it says, or from any decision you make because of it — including anything written by the AI model. Nothing in this paragraph takes away a right you have under the consumer protection law of your province, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
The words, the photographs and the stone drawings on this site are ours. Please ask before reusing them.

This page may change, and the date under the heading says when it last did. Everystone is run from British Columbia, Canada; this page and anything arising from it are read under the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there.
